Special Event on Dec. 16: Vinterliv
Here’s a controversial thought: winter is a gift.
Let us convince you how on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Many of our neighbors have a hard time with winter, and we understand why. That’s why we’re excited to share lessons from our friends and family in Sweden on how to learn and practice the love of winter.
We’re teaming up with Icebug from Sweden to present Vinterliv, which is Swedish for “Winter Life,” a special event to help our community make the most of the winter season.
What’s happening?
We have a full day planned on Saturday, Dec. 16, filled to the brim with fittings, food, beverages, giveaways and more!
Icebug of Sweden will provide free fittings for their best-selling styles of studded winter boots to help you get on your feet, stay warm, and enjoy the beauty of winter weather.
We will also have a cozy bonfire on our back patio with woolen blankets for you to stay warm while making the most of the clean winter air.
Throughout the day we’ll also have lessons on how to maximize the unique opportunities winter provides, both inside and out:
10 a.m. - 5 p.m.:
Icebug boot and Scandinavian outer-ware fittings
Back patio bonfire
11 a.m.: Master the art of layering (inside)
1 p.m.: Guided glögg and julmust tastings with snack pairings (on the back patio)
2 p.m.: Learn to bake krumkake (inside)
Join us on Saturday, Dec. 16 to learn and live the love of winter. It might not be so controversial anymore.
